Cannes celebrating 60 years of cinema

Cannes festival — By admin on September 12, 2007 5:06 pm

Although there are times when the Cannes festival is a bit of burden for the locals, there are still enough “cinéphiles” in town to join in the celebrations of the festival’s 60th anniversary. Long after the press and distribution companies have packed up and gone home, the Cannois are still enjoying the fun. Special screenings of winning movies are continuing.

If you’re in town in September, you might still catch Kusturica’s “Underground”. October’s movies include “Pulp Fiction”, “Les enfants volés”, “Crash” and “The Piano Lesson”.
