This year is the 49th anniversary of Jazz in Juan, the jazz festival just outside Cannes itself. It is recognised as a very relaxed event. Highlights this year include a tribute to Sidney Bechet, New Orleans legend Allen Toussaint, Stanley Clark, Marcus Miller and Victor Wooten.
