Les Plages Electroniques

Les Plages Electroniques 2024

Since 2006, the beach beside the Palais des Festivals in Cannes has been home to one of the very few electronic music festivals in the south of Frances, les Plages Electroniques (Electronic Beaches). This fun, colourful and relatively cheap event brings in certified party DJs over a weekend in August.

The festival – one of the few beach music festival in France – stands out by the variety of styles and quality of DJs. Very few can offer dance vibes in a city location with your feet in the water.

Due to its inner-city location, it closes just after midnight. Those that want to continue to party can still head to some of the clubs that can be found in Cannes.

2022: BACK TO THE BEACH

After a lockdown version on the lawn of the Villa Rothschild, the festival is back on the beach and terraces of the Palais des Festivals August 16-18, 2024. Headliners last year included include David Guetta and Damso with Monolink, Kiddy Smile and a host of others over the three days.

Follow Cannes or Bust’s Twitter account or the festival’s website (below) for updates about the 2024 line-up.
