Partouche Poker returns to Cannes

After months of touring France, the big poker news is that the Partouche Poker Tour will finish its 4th season at the Palm Beach in Cannes, September 12-17 2011. A range of top French and international players will be battling it out for a prize pool of €4 million. The top winner last year, the America Vanessa Selbst, walked away with a cool €1.3 million. In 2011, she’ll be facing Phil Hellmuth, Phil Laak, Mike Matusow, Patrick Antonius, Gus Hansen, Antonio Esfandiari and Michael Mizrachi.

  1. If you’re attending the Partouche Poker and are staying in town, you can save money on taxis by taking a bus to the Palm Beach. Bus n° 8 leaves about every 15 minutes from the town hall/gare routière/mairie and takes just 13 minutes to get to the Palm Beach. Last bus back: 20.45. If you’re coming from the railway station, take bus n° 20 direction Balcon d’Azur and change to bus n° 8 at the Gare Maritime stop. Or why not use Twitter to share a taxi?
