It’s a probably a sign of the times. The CEO of Twitter, Dick Costolo, and former US president Bill Clinton are amongst the speakers at Cannes Lions. Costolo is also a Mentor at TechStars, LLC and was previously the Co-founder, Principal, and Chief Executive Officer at FeedBurner. His talk will be about “Harnessing the power of real-time connections”, which is hardly news at this stage. Costolo will discuss how “planning for real-time” can inform – and transform – the process through which campaigns are crafted both online and offline. He’ll also demonstrate how the conversation about cultural events presents a powerful creative canvas for marketers.
There’s no need to present Bill Clinton. Since leaving the White House, he has been working through the William J. Clinton Foundation “to improve global health, strengthen economies, promote healthier childhoods, and protect the environment by fostering partnerships among governments, businesses, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and private citizens” (whew). At Cannes, he will talk about how advertising can help build a better world.

Well this is definitely a great news and I think more people should be aware with this especially the Twitter users.
