Nice airport announces more flights, new destinations in 2016
Nice, France Airport, also known as the Côte d’Azur Airport has announced a new selection of destinations for the summer of 2016, which will bring the total to 107. The new destinations are primarily to Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, North America and the Middle East.

The key figures for the summer 2016:
- 107 destinations
- 62 regular airlines
- 37 countries served
- 15 new routes.
Overall, this will mean an increase between 2 and 3% of seats.
Flights to the Cannes Film Festival, Midem, TFWA or MIPCOM
People visiting Cannes for the Cannes Film Festival, Midem, TFWA or MICOM should check if the flights from 9 new destinations make travel easier:
- Palermo with Volotea;
- Mykonos, Cagliari in Sardinia with easyJet
- Eastern Europe and Scandinavia (Warsaw via batch, Budapest with Wizzair or Billund in Denmark with Primera Air)
- Ostend (Brugge) with Jetairfly and
- Bergerac via IGavion.
Finallly, the summer 2016 will allow direct access to a destination chosen by 40 000 Facebook fans of Nice airport: Iceland via Reykjavik with the WOW Air company, now less than 4 hours flight from Nice.
At the same time, 4 destinations will have more flights: Athens with Aegean, Palma de Mallorca with easyJet, Rennes and Strasbourg with Volotea. Flights to Tallinn in Estonia will resume with a new company, Nordic Aviation, and Tunis with Nouvelair Tunisia.
