The 8th edition of the CanneSeries festival (April 24-29 2025) is about to kick off. This is Cannes’ showcase for the burgeoning worlwide series industry, with premeires, awards and a pink carpet for photo calls.
The 2025 edition will see the introduction of four professional “clubs” for participants focusing on different sections of the series industry: screenwriters, producers of both fiction and documentary series, broadcasters, music composers, and casting directors.

CanneSeries 2025 professional clubs
Professionals will meet over 1 or 2 days in what is billed as “a relaxed yet focused atmosphere”. The days will feature relevant topics and panels, allowing time for exchanges among participants.
The professional encounters will be curated by a team, with a limited number of international participants. “We believe that today’s professionals value quality over quantity,” according to the organisers. “Providing them with a privileged setting and a schedule that allows for informal exchanges will help them address concrete issues and understand the industry’s various positions better.”
As in all such gatherings, the idea is to provide a platform for meeting and doing business. “Ideally, this will spark stories to be written at CANNESERIES.”
