For the past 6 years, CANNESERIES has been the showcase for series from all over the world. Inevitably, this brings together the various parties that make them, in the mythical setting of the city of Cannes and its Palais des Festivals. Unlike other events of this nature, it is a showcase festival, totally free and open to the public. Thea deadline for CanneSeries 2024 is January 31 2024.

Turning Cannes red carpet pink
CANNESERIES can sometimes feels more like a party than a trade event. It is both creative yet chic, with a distinctive vibe that is both pop and joyful. For 6 days, some of the biggest international stars converge on the town for the famous red-carpet treatment (except this one is pink). They are joined by many scriptwriters and other professionals of the world of series, and the event’s prestigious partners.
The programme of the event is both eclectic and generous program. The official competition features series that are in long, short and now documentary formats. A parallel selection brings together and federates audiences and fans of series in all their diversity. It also offers opportunities to meet with creators and talents from all over the world, from the most cutting-edge series to the most popular.

This allows screenwriters and other high-level professionals to come together to share their experiences and talk shop while MIP is running.
