MAPIC 2017: 23 years of real estate

A number of shopping centre projects in the Middle East – Oman, UAE, Qatar, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey – will be showcased this year at MAPIC. The goal is to attract today’s most dynamic international retailers.

“As consumers constantly seek new products in some of the world’s largest shopping centres, the Middle East is a particularly fast-growing market that is attracting international brands. This year, we are not only playing host to shopping centre developers but also a number of very well-established master franchises in the Middle East. This way we can showcase the entire scope of the region’s development opportunities,” says Nathalie Depetro, Director of MAPIC.

International brands will meet up with the Middle East’s major developers such as Majid Al Futtaim (UAE), Arabian Centres (Saudi Arabia), Iran Mall (Iran) and Nakheel (Dubai), who will be coming to MAPIC for the first time to present their shopping mall projects. The Qatari developer United Developers will also be returning to showcase its monumental Place Vendôme project, first presented at MAPIC in 2014.
A number of Middle Eastern master franchises will also be present to showcase their portfolio of brands to both regional and international developers.

MAPIC 2015 will be held 15-17 November 2017.
