Cannes 2021 reveals Palme d’Or line-up

The Cannes 2021 line-up for the Palme d’Or and other sidebars have been unveiled. The official 2021 selection once again features some of the most exciting directors and movies from right across the globe. France’s Leos Carax and François Ozon represent two very different facets of French cinema. Cannes favourite Wes Anderson will screen “The French Dispatch”. Joachim Lafosse will present a topical family drama, “The Restless”, while Paul Verhoeven and Sean Penn are making noted comebacks at Cannes.

For the record, actress Tilda Swinton will appear in two films at the Cannes Film Festival this year, as she has roles in both ‘The French Dispatch’ and ‘Memoria’. Léa Seydoux goes two further with “France” by Bruno Dumont, “Deception by Arnaud Desplechin (a Première), “The French Dispatch” by Wes Anderson and “The Story of my Wife” by Ildiko Enyedi.
